Terms of use

Squarelatch is operated by Hydr₳, an individual. These terms are written in plain language and are not legal advice.

1. The service. A free tool that generates QR codes in your browser. Codes you create are yours to use, including commercially.
2. Acceptable use. Do not use codes to deceive people, for phishing or malware, or for unlawful content, and do not use them to infringe other people's rights.
3. No warranty. The tool is provided "as is". Always test codes before printing or distributing them. See the disclaimer.
4. Liability. The tool is free and you use it at your own risk. As far as the law allows, the operator is not responsible for losses caused by codes that do not scan or contain incorrect information.
5. Paid services. None are offered yet. Separate terms will apply if they launch.
