Print and test
- On a business card, print at least 2–2.5 cm wide. Contact cards hold more data than links, so they are denser; drop optional fields if the scan check warns about density.
- Use international phone format (+971 …) so the number works for visitors from abroad.
- Keep the quiet zone clear of card edges and text.
- Test on both iPhone and Android: check that the name, numbers and email land in the right fields after saving.
Frequently asked questions
Which vCard version is used?
vCard 3.0, which iPhone and Android contacts apps import. Special characters such as commas and semicolons are escaped automatically.
Can I add a photo?
No. A photo is far too much data for a printable code. Add a website link instead.
Why is my code so dense?
Every field adds data. Remove the address or note, or shorten fields, and the code becomes simpler and easier to scan.
Can I update my details later?
Not in a static code: the details are stored in the code itself. Print a new code if they change, or link to a profile page you control using a link code.
